About Us
William (Bill) Hastings, the owner of Senior Benefit Support, started in the Insurance business in 2009 after over 20 years in upper management in the corporate world. He had always had the desire to own his own business but wanted it to be something where he felt he could help people and make a difference. A friend and business associate in the insurance business convinced him he was a great fit for this industry. So, Bill went to school and got his insurance license. He started his career with a captive agency and spent over 2 years with this agency learning the business, and still has a good relationship with this company. Bill felt like he could do more good for his clientele by opening an independent agency which allowed him the ability to specialize in the retirement age products, and to compare all the companies and their products for his clients, to get them the best benefits and value. We started out operating as Hastings Insurance Agency but because we service primarily the retirement market, we felt Senior Benefit Support was a more fitting name, and the name was changed. Bill's son, Nick joined him in the agency a few years after opening and with a great staff they continue to service clients nationwide. Many clients have been with Bill since his start in 1999. Senior Benefit Support is licensed in 10 states, and we are continuing to add additional states. For anyone needing help outside of our licensing states, we have working partnerships with agencies that have the same ethics and goals for clients that we have. If you need help in a state, we do not currently hold a license, we will get you the help you need from one of these other agencies.

Bill and Jane Hastings have been married for 39 years. Have 2 children, Christy their daughter and the oldest Nick their son. and 2 grandchildren, Makayla and Trevor. Family and Church are priorities for them. A lot of activities are centered around both.
